External quality assessment
An assessment of your internal audit function against the Global Internal Audit Standards. Audirium is on IIA Netherlands' list of assessing organisations.
It can also be done as a self-assessment with independent validation: you do the groundwork, we assess the outcome. That meets the same requirement and is the cheapest route for smaller functions.
Internal quality assessment
The internal side of your quality assurance and improvement programme. We carry out the assessment, or we guide you while you do it yourself. You choose.
Useful as preparation too: you know where you stand before the external assessment instead of after it.
Why this can be done for half
Half the money should raise an eyebrow. This is where the difference sits, and where it does not.
The assessor does the work in person
No team of juniors who first have to read themselves in and whose learning curve you pay for. No partner rate on top of a manager on top of an assistant.
Our own software handles the administrative part
AQUA records the file selection, links the scores to the standards and makes the conclusion traceable. That saves the hours that otherwise go into spreadsheets, on our side and on yours.
The offer runs this summer
After that the regular rate applies. The discount is in the calendar, not in the assessment: it follows the same method as every other engagement.
What you get
The cost is half. The assessment is not.
- Assessed against the GIAS: the fifteen principles and fifty-two standards, plus the Topical Requirements.
- A traceable conclusion: from engagement file to requirement to standard to principle, so you can follow where the final conclusion comes from.
- File selection under the applicable guidance: we make the selection from your completed engagements of the past twelve months.
- Supported by our own software: we use our own assessment software AQUA, with other clients as well. That mainly saves time on your side.
- Improvement actions that hold: with an owner and a deadline, usable if you want to build on them the following year.
Who carries out the assessment
The standards set requirements for the assessor. This is what we bring.
Over thirty years in the profession, decades of it as Chief Audit Executive, and still in that role. The assessment is done by someone who built and ran an audit function, not by someone who only reads about it.
- CIA
- RE
- RO
- CRISC
- CRMA
Standard 8.4 requires a qualified, independent assessor and at least one active CIA holder on the assessment team.
Get in touch
We prefer to discuss the terms in person, along with the approach and the cost. Leave your details and we will call or email you back. Not a sales pitch, but a conversation about your function and what an assessment would bring you.
